All the pages have a small window resize handle at the right bottom corner

Hi lulukom!

Really? I have fixed a bug with resizing windows on macOS but this has worked well before. I realized macOS handles resizing when your mouse is near the right bottom corner, so my resizing code is not executed at all, only on Windows.

I suspect the window minimum/maximum size is set wrongly, that is why you could not resize it to bigger. Which tabs did you click on previously before attempting to resize the window?

Hi.
In 3.9b38: If you create a track for chords using the chord generator, when changing rhythm, there's no way of previewing without switching tabs. Is that intentional? I do like the new generator settings layout with the tabs much tidier but would be good to be able to access preview under each tab.
Second, if you choose Bar as the note length and then (inadvertently) choose probalistic rhythm which you can't realistically have as you have already constrained the note length, RC closes without error message. This is easily reproducable.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the feedback. I inserted preview buttons under the Rhythm tab. (See the post below.)

While I was unable to reproduce the crash, I found a bug in the Probabilistic Rhythm generator. Hopefully the fix will eliminate the crash.

RapidComposer v3.9b39 is available!

A few requests and bug fixes in todays update.

Improvements:

Ctrl-W (on Windows) or Cmd-W (on macOS) closes the chord palette window. The shortcut cannot be reassigned.
Phrase preview is possible on the Rhythm page too
[Windows] Fixed: pressing Del did not clear the search in the browsers search field
Fixed 'Probabilistic Rhythm' which was unable to provide the required number of notes
[MacOS]: Window resizing bug fixed

Hi lulukom,

You can have multiple tracks with 'solo' enabled.
I realize the folder track MUTE and SOLO buttons may be confusing. They should be highlighted only when all tracks have the solo/muted status.
I will fix this for the next update.

Apparently the same story with the Mutes ..Hello Attila! Thanks for the new beta! The first drawback that I noticed .
If I mute a track folder, then the tracks inside the folder continue to play (they are of course not muted). Then why mute on the track folder?

hey Attila.. Had a crash making the what's new video and had an issue with the sound font play back during preview.. It's all in the video.. Maybe you can decipher why the crash happened based on what I did...

edit: also, after watching it again.. I had accidentally created an audio track and I had it selected for delete, but, the other track was deleted instead.. In the comments, I added the time code to jump to those issues..

This is a feature that everybody could benefit from as it gives great variation ideas just by inverting and flipping notes as you can see some of the top YouTubers are talking about it so having it in software would be great.

Hi Dam,

I did not forget about this, and the canvas track that I was planning. My primary goal is to finish v4.0 by the end of October at the latest.
BTW inversion is much better when inverting scale notes rather than semitones. Melodya already does that, but this will be available in RapidComposer too, maybe in v4.1.

Hi BluGenes,

I found the same deadlock today accidentally, so the hanging that you experienced is fixed now. I also fixed the illogical behavior of folder track solo/mute buttons. It is unbelievable that you found the track deletion problem after an audio track was added, that was fixed too.

I could not reproduce the problem with the soundfont playback though. It sounded like playing back 'zero' MIDI notes (C-1 I think).
