hi,
i just bougth phalanx 1.5.8, I downloaded the installer folder and content folder. I install the program. it works well. but when i try the import the content (basic.delivery) file (as written in "how to install content" file), the error mesage appears: "no files found for import". is there any body have the same problem?? i dont know what i have tot do:( sorry my english:))

i am using cubase 8.5 and windows 10 (64 bit)

If I remember it correct you have to mail them and tell them your billing data too. If you bought it they can send you a download link.

The last update is from Feb 2018. So whatever that tells

Maybe a V2 is being worked on. I would buy it as it is if the current version runs without problems for you. You can try it if you have a usb e-licencer.

Have not used it in years. Bought it with an impulse when it came out but never liked the GUI or the workflow. I much prefer Battery.

A v2 is very unlikely. Phalanx was developed as a first attempt to improve the sale of their sample packs. Now they have Avenger, way better for the business.

Also the coder (is just one person) is busy full-time ironing out bugs and developing Avenger. This is why they never did a proper (scalable) GUI refresh on their plugins.

They don’t seem to be quite AirMusicTech-level abandonware, but they don’t seem to be future-proof either.

Phalanx is a really great tool, definitely a shame it doesn't seem to be developed further. There was talks about possibly working on a sequencer Avenger style for an update but I believe due to the success of Avenger all the resources are being poured into that instead.
