Dear Anyone.

As always when I ask a dumbass question, I tell the world I'm NOT Bill Gates on computers - I just like writing music! So if this is utterly obvious to you lot, be gentle with me!

On the Plogue Sforzando page it says Sforzando can run in 32-bit or 64-bit modes. Thing IS - the only downloads I see, which are next to where it states that, say 64-bit. And I'm Windows Xp, sorry, fact of life, music software doesn't like Win 10 and I can't afford new stuff.

So I download Sforzando and it says 'This Program Needs 64-bit architecture to install.' But it says on the page it can run in 32-bit.

How do I install it on XP? Where do I find the 32-bit installer?

If it's under my nose and I've missed it, just point me in the right direction!

Yours puzzledly

Chris.

Hi Chris,

I found this in the Sforzando manual:
Computer System Requirements
Windows PC 32/64bit:
Microsoft Windows Vista
Microsoft Windows 7
Microsoft Windows 8
Microsoft Windows 10
2.4 GHz CPU Pentium 4 or better, 2.0 GHz Core Duo or better
recommended
1 GB Minimum, 2 GB RAM recommended if used with other instruments
at the same time.
15 MB of free hard drive space
Monitor with 1,024x768 resolution or better for usage of the default skin.
A sound card compatible with ASIO, DirectSound, or MME
Keyboard: A MIDI interface may be required if you are using a MIDI keyboard. Some keyboards use USB.
High quality speakers and amplifier, or high quality headphones
Internet connection for download, updates.

Unfortunately it seems like XP is not supported - I couldn't find a link to download a 32-bit version on their site either.

Cheers,
Erik N
