Any news/leaks if Cubase 11 will fix high-DPI issues?

Yes, it's addressed in C11.

Good to hear. We'll see how well it works, though. S1 had it since 4.x, but to this day some plugins still don't work correctly, unlike in e.g. Bitwig.

The whole application is not unified so 11 has a lot of work needed if it is going to be truly hdpi ready.... some sub menus don't scale, midi plugins are tiny, some aspects of the gui are still modal. They indicated that this was going to take a long time to complete. I will be very happy if they actually have made all of these improvements.
Note I am not in the beta. My comments are observations based on where we are now at version 10.5 with consideration to previous comments made by Steinberg staff on their official forums around the time of Cubase 10.0 release.

Are you in the beta and talk from experience, or is this just a speculation? I'd love to use Cubase more, but for now it's really no-go and if it's gonna take v12 or v13 to get there, I might as well not bother with it at all and let it go.Scotty wrote: Thu Sep 03, 2020 7:15 pmThe whole application is not unified so 11 has a lot of work needed if it is going to be truly hdpi ready.... some sub menus don't scale, midi plugins are tiny, some aspects of the gui are still modal. Antic604, I am not in the beta. Apologies if I gave that impression. I am referencing comments that were made by Steinberg staff on their forums at steinberg.net indicating the significance of the task ahead of them *when at version 10.0 release. I will be pleased if they have the gui fully unified and hdpi ready in Cubase 11. There is a lot of work needed as it stands in Cubase 10.5

I'd suspect it's only available for people participating in the beta program

Keep in mind that beta =/= final build. Some stuff may be removed or altered when enough testers will find bugs beyond repair or tgat feature is not good enough / implementation idea is not good.
Cubase, like somebody mention before is a mix of old and new GUI elements. To make hidpi compatible they must finally update very old elements and so far they're very slow (they couldn't even update GUI of 100% plugins in major update)

That's fine, once you have the need for new feature it's already there. Good to have all options and smart actions for everything.
So the upgrade will cost another 49$ and to sum up Pro cost 550$ or 600$? Drat.

Apple still didn't made it 100% after 7 years and 5 major Logic updates (which essentially 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 and etc are), Logic environment is still untouched, but that didn't made Logic unusable, it won't make Cubase either.pixel85 wrote: Thu Sep 17, 2020 1:11 pm (they couldn't even update GUI of 100% plugins in major update)
