I'm sure at least one band member wears a hairpiece, hairspray nonetheless.
I'm surprised Mr Smith hasn't changed his hairstyle in decades, I wonder if he uses a comb at home.

It's probably a hair hat over a skullcap by now. I'd be amazed if his barnet was still his after that amount of abuse. Pretty much all the blokes I know who did the frizzy back-combing tower of hairspray hair thing in their teens and twenties lost it by their early forties.
My favourite hairpiece story was about Terry Wogan (famous Irish interviewer on the BBC in the 80's/90's) owning three different wigs with the hair at different lengths and he'd go shortest, medium, long over a month then go back to shortest when the next month started to make it seem like he'd had a cut.
