I've tried a couple of the earlier links and they either don't have the deals listed or they just flat-out don't work at all.
Unfortunately you just missed the second anniversary sale, ended on the 16th.
It was on for a month or so tbf.

Well, that's unfortunate. I guess I'll just be getting used to what I have and waiting for the next sale, then.

Is an option to add it to your library. Though when you click it, it displays the buy it for $99
Not sure if it adds it to you library or not. I added it a year ago.
Yeah it doesn't add anything, only a link to buy it.
Did you get an answer on this yet? I found this in their FAQ section:
What are the limitations of the Voltage Module Designer demo?

All of Voltage Module Designer’s core features are available in the personal version, including layout, design, programming, running, and debugging features. The personal version will allow you to publish your module to our servers for personal use only. You must purchase the Voltage Module Designer Commercial License in order to publish your modules for use in Voltage Modular.
This suggests that the "demo" and the "personal version" of the module designer are the same thing. If so, that could certainly be made clearer on the bundle web page.

It's the same thing. just that the personal version gets you a license to make your modules available to others via the VM store (though there's probably some small print about them having the right to refuse them for some reason e.g. I imagine if you suddenly added free versions of all their paid for modules).

i agree fully, making a MPE patch with the poly vector and 3 zerooscillators, only a first draft, but yes, when i saw the video: i thought this is great for MPE, and yes, at the end it was stated.

the draft sounds now very experimental, i use a lot of feedback loops, which mark barton also did in the video, it is way of working that i learned from softube modular, not that many modules, but not needed, with feedback loops, or i call them that way, patching a modules, with other modules, and let them control eachother, preferable with 4 or more modules, and some LFO's or something else. extensive "feedback patching" creates strange rich sounds.

i hope that i am not the only one that understands this post.

Yeah that's what they said, install the demo, sorry...

Hi,

We don't offer a "demo" of Module Designer. We offer a Personal License and a Commercial License. The difference is the modules made with the Personal License can be published and used in your personal installation of Voltage Modular, but they can't be sold or shared with other users. Those who own a Commercial License can submit modules to the store, and if they meet our guidelines, they can be sold or given away for free to others.

There's an Add To Library button for the Personal License at the bottom of this page:

https://cherryaudio.com/voltage-module-designer

If you don't see that option, then you've probably already added the Module Designer to your account. In that case, just visit your library at https://store.cherryaudio.com/my/library to download the Module Designer and the Developer's Kit, and make sure you follow the installation instructions here (https://cherryaudio.com/voltage-module-designer/install) to ensure you can compile and run modules.

I hope that helps!

Hmm, well what you're saying did not work for me. After clicking the demo button on the page,
it's now listed in my account as a "demo" *Definitely, it was not listed at all prior to that.

I can see how that could be a little confusing. The "demo" indication in your library just means that you've got a Personal License, and not a Commercial License. It's the same product either way, so we differentiate that in your library with the Demo icon. I'll pass that on to our web team, that that might be a bit confusing.

You're now all set to create modules!

All the best,

Yes, that's too generous..after they silently adding the Precision DC Source / Frequency Counter. Can't wait for the other 3, especially if those are as cool.

Another great news is that support mentioned they're always looking for ways to optimize CPU usage :phones:

They encourage to go ahead and experiment with the number of cores. But they've found with other software that if the clock speed slow, using multiple threads doesn't help, because the computer can't juggle the threads fast enough. I'm using 8 cores and everything runs great. But a more CPU optimized update is most welcome.

I get paid tomorrow and the recent VM sale wiped me out, but think I’ll pick up the MRB lab bundle as the filter bundle has proven to be top quality.
