That is great news! I’ve had a spot reserved in my rack for it for a while now... last unfilled HP I have left! Can’t wait!
No worries on the missed dates. Didn’t even know that happened.

I just hope to be able to get one, lately cool new modules have been proving difficult to acquire
as they sell out quickly. Like the Divkid ochd for instance, personally I would have preferred a pre-order.
*Of course I haven't tried to do that anywhere, if that's possible at this point.

Of course, otherwise people would not buy some plugs at your site, which are $80 cheaper at third party sites lol.Urs wrote: Thu Apr 05, 2018 11:53 amWe have no illusion that the Eurorack market is much more limited than software, in terms of numbers and profits. It's a labour of love. Something I needed us to do.zvenx wrote:that market
I see you've spent that money well

Rumours have it that there'll be a pre-order at Schneider's soon...
(As we have been extraordinarily cautious developing this thing, we're also cautiously testing waters with shops, and we start with the shop around the corner from us before we approach broader distribution)
If it sells out quickly, we can probably make a new batch in a lot less than a year, a quarter maybe, as we have stocked all "rare" parts in advance.
OTOH we still have no idea how useful it is to a broader audience since I've developed it from my own very narrow stance on modular synthesis.

Hehehe, that's actually part of the rather funky cheat sheet that comes with it - instead of a quick start guide. We recommend watching videos to learn how things work, then keep the cheat sheet around for the rare things ("cyan for quantize, green for glide"). The user guide (PDF) goes in detail but should not be a necessity for everyday use.
The box itself is going to be quite plain.

We haven't talked to anyone yet.cnt wrote: Wed Sep 23, 2020 1:36 pm Cool, will it be available at EscapeFromNoise.com as well later on?
Our plan is based on following scenarios...
- worst case: Schneider sells only a few units, like 20 or so -> we start our own shop and file under "experience"
- projected case: Schneider sells within our projection -> we have quite a few units left, we look into distribution
- best case: Schneider sells all units quickly -> we have nothing left to distribute, so we ramp up production, then look into distribution

Excellent! Of course as a consumer, the main thing I've noticed to affect the sales rate of new modules is the cost. Even when interest is very high, high cost generally keeps the stuff in stock for a while, though eventually they do get scarce. If people find the cost particularly reasonable, they will sell like hot cakes.
*For the most part, projections across the market don't seem to be very good actually.

Hehehe, thanks
Videos take a while to finish, but they do look rather awesome (we have nearly 2 vids finished of 7 or so videos planned). There'll be a website update in about two weeks with lots of initial material. We'll probably post some stuff before... not sure when...
Funny thing about the module is that it doesn't do anything weird (we scrapped many esoteric concepts). It does a few things in a way that I wouldn't want to go back to how I used to do them with 5 or 6 other modules, with a fraction of the cables and the space.
