Yep, definitely! Not proper trance? Well, they were on a few trance compilations at the time and I definitely heard them at a few hard house/trance nights. Never heard the term 'breakbeat trance'? I've always thought pigeonholes were for pigeons anyway :D Although, Domination was pretty trancy I think.

No I didnt mean it like that (we all know only Tiesto makes proper trance :D ). I just thought there were to many different elements in WOW's stuff to really pigeon hole them. You could call it prog house, prog breaks... errr they're just WOW!

Strange that no one seemed to like their recent album (i thought it were proper bo). A couple of dodgy songs in there but on the most part i like. That track Killa is the bollocks - i love to see talented people mix up genres like this!

Sure, I was just yankin' yer chain :hihi: But yep, they're unclassifiable. 'The Gift' was a genre-straddling work of art in my opinion.

Hmm, I'll have to give it another listen.. Maybe it'll grow on me. :)
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Well many are doubtfully trance and they're just some trancy tracks I like off the top of my head:

Astral Projection - Fly and dubby version of Dancing Galaxy
BT & Taylor - Anomaly
Leftfield - Not Forgotten & Space Shanity & the track from Shallow Grave, and mostly anything they did, trancy or not :)
Nat Monday - Waiting (especially Creamer and Stephane K version)
James Holden - I have put out the light, Break in the Clouds & pretty much anything else
Sasha - Boileroom, Bloodlock & Cloud Cockoo
Filterheads - In your eyes (blue)

and (sure, slap me) Dune - Hardcore Vibes

Even cheesy dutch trance really got better in last few years, I must add Tiesto - A tear in the open.

tony walker -fields of joy (original remix)
Gouryella - Tenshi
System F -Cry (Dot NL remix)
Digger -church of Rah.. i think thats right ?
Chakara -love shines through.

Get into an average bar in Bosnia or Serbia after 11pm and you'll find out that there is actually such scarily cheesy commercially available folk trance (a.k.a turbo-folk) that is about the worst f**king music on the planet or at least shareing the last place with hair metal.

I wish I had any snippets here so you could see the horror for your self. (Imagine cheesiest trance mixed with bad vocals tring to sound oriental and singing jibberish).

Anyway, one more hardtrance cheesines I actually ended up liking: DJ Pierro - Another World

Don't ever use the words 'punk' and 'metal' in the same sentence!
