remids me of soundradix surferEQ

does shade have midi input for midi-note ?
like in surferEQ where i can "play" the EQ bands...

We do not provide pitch based modulations yet, it would be some work to do it properly then it's not on our top priority list yet, we have already a lot of minor things to improve before considering adding new modules.

This is a great plugin! Very versatile, easy to use and great-sounding!

While I will certainly purchase it anyway, I can't however help thinking, how fantastic it would be if there was amongst the special "filters" a simple delay...

Yes it would be fun to get a collection of allpass filters (including the delay), we though about that, the only problem is that it doesn't fit so much with the ergonomics since we display only the magnitude graph which is unchanged for any allpass :p and non experienced people would be just asking them what are the purpose of such filters.

Unfortunately it's VST2, thus the usual PITA quadro channel kludge affair for Cubase users, which kinda ruins an otherwise excellent plugin.

When do you plan to release a VST3 version UVI? A plugin like this really NEEDS that VST3 support for "certain" hosts.
Version 1.0.1 (now online) feature a VST3.

I understand - but then again it's the same for the Gain already anyway... come to think of it, these functions could perhaps even be included as additional parameters within the Gain, or am I wrong?

I got it working in Ableton Live--was my fault for missing step for authenticating.

Like everyone else here, I have a few hundred effects plugins. If you told me I had to give all of them back except one, this is the one I would keep, not even close.

Hi UVI,
I get instant hard crash in Nuendo 10 on Catalina as soon as I try and add an intance of Shade.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Edit: It seems it's the VST3 that causes the hard crash, it's the same in Reaper 6.
Unfortunately I can't get the VST to appear in Nuendo 10, I try to rescan in Nuendo and it hard crashes as soon of the VST3 version gets scanned.

It's a nice plugin and I played with it for a bit, but I'm not hearing anything new.

ya sure, because it does so many things, and it does them really well, and it does some things that, for my plugin collection anyway, are new. i love the design and workflow, somehow it's been much easier for me to get to grips with the deeper features in Shade than it usually is on a plugin with this many features, so i can do "complex" stuff really quickly and easily. some of the unique filters are super fun, the extreme slope range i've never seen before, the Q-Up and Q-Down controls i've never seen before and you can quickly dial in a huge range of harmonics with them, the Follower modulators make it a super capable and flexible dynamics tool, the Figure modulators i've never seen before, ya, basically it just kicks all kinds of ass. and it sounds great. and it's pretty.
