1073.Scheps73 doesn't.in fact,Waves in general are the last place i would look if i was looking for analog modelled plugins

Lindell 80 will go on sale for about 30euros.its happened twice or so since its release,so it will happen again
I get your point. I will wait for Lindell 80 to go on sale again, which I think will be soon since it's the quarter end. Meanwhile, I can demo it. :tu:

Oh yes, thank you. I was the one of those who gave away the codes a couple of times, but this time I have reserved it for the mega sale. :) It would be awesome to get hands on the Lindell Channel 80 Series for $15/$25 with the voucher.

Melda TurboEQ ........Meldas plugins are as cookie cutter as it gets as far as i am concerned and have nothing to do with analog emulation beyond providing some basic building blocks to roll your own within the limits of what they do.which isn't much.they are great for their flexibility in the modulations, but he's the last place i would look for preamp emulation.he's also vehemently against the idea of it mattering in multiple facets anyways
Did you try it already? I use it insinde the MSF sometimes and I´m frequently surprised. Very nice High End - and different "Vintage Models" included btw. Helpful an flexible. He´s not looking for Perfection ...

I´d definitely prefer it over "Cheap Cheap here" "Reconstructions" by - ahm - whoever...

We should maybe ask the Plugindoctor, too. I´ve seen simple Bell Curves already where Acustica Audio delivered complex Curve-Morphing. And at least one of the mentioned doesn´t even have a Demo :/

The Melda MAmp in Vintage1 Mode is actually pretty good, yet also nowhere near in emulating a Neve or something.

So, I watched some tutorials, read the manual and demoed Lindell Audio 80 Series. I am super impressed with its sound, and the GUI is beautiful too. This will be my first preamp plugin, and my second channel strip plugin (after Waves Scheps Omni Channel). I demoed Scheps 73 as well, but I the Lindell one indeed sounded better. Features wise, there a couple of features missing in either plugins, which is fine. It came down to preference and usability thing and Lindell convinced me enough.

Now while demo will last for a couple of weeks, I am waiting for PA to start the quarterly mega sale so that I can own it for an affordable price. :hihi:

Thanks everyone for your help. :tu:

Way way less expensive than the real component from a Neve console though.I use UAD and have had the pleasure of mixing on a Neve console and the 1084 is pretty much spot on.

Definitely worth waiting, a recent sale is documented here. Someone mentions getting the Lindell 80 Series Channel for $15/£12.

Well, that's awesome then. Thanks for the suggestion, I will be waiting for the next sale. I wish I knew I wanted Lindell Audio 80 Series earlier this month. :)

Yeah, I would have surely if there was no activation fee. Unless someone can sell it to me for $10-$15, it does not make much sense. I had rather wait and buy it for $15/$25 new.

PA heard my wish and I finally used my survey voucher to get Lindell Audio 80 Series for $25 today. Glad I waited. And thanks everyone for the suggestions. :tu:

I've been using the IK EQ73 and EQ81 recently and really like these a lot.
