Its actually a pretty basic (and ugly) plugin, if anyone else had launched it I don't think it would have had much attention at all.
2 LFO's, not that easy to program or modulate, very limited visual feedback -its like someone said lets take all that wrong an difficult with hardware and map that in to software...
There are so many synths that sound, look and program much better than this for less money, I really don't see what the fuss is about.

X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Well, it's one of those unwieldy S&S-type engines. It's primarily meant to be used by professional sound designers to make a huge variety of performance-ready presets for the Fantoms, Jupiter-X's, MC's, etc.SLiC wrote: Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:43 pm There are so many synths that sound, look and program much better than this for less money, I really don't see what the fuss is about.
I think that there are two main reasons to consider it. First, if you own a Zen-Core hardware instrument, and want to exchange patches between the plug-in and the hardware, this is a decent solution. Alternatively, if you just love the classic Roland sounds, Zenology will give you thousands of them. It's not the most powerful or intuitive option for designing original sounds, though.

I have a question has the Zenology added the missing features for JX-8P and SH-101 found on the original synth models yet?
I would really love the JX-8P as an ACB plugin no compromises with a proper modeled GUI (PG-800) and a Plugout for the System 8. That would be killer.

I recently used the TR-808 plug-in (trial version) in a recent song of mine. I got a constant barrage of Roland Cloud stuff popping up on my computer, even when not working on music. I couldn't take it anymore and attempted to manually uninstall anything to do with Roland Cloud. Now this Zenology thing happens & the audio demos sound good. Now I can't get the free Zenology thing to work. Apparently I threw out too much Roland Sound Cloud too early.

No luck.
Maybe it is the latter.
Odd though 40 day 808 came with everything.

I saw a video from a person that bought a lifetime key for Zenology Pro and still has only one bank. Hopefully that's a bug, not a feature.zvenx wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:18 amNo luck.

I think it’d be more of a issue if the source for the partials is missing otherwise they could sign up to the cheapest plan for a month and screenshot the settings for whatever presets interest them (other than the ones in the expansions) and recreate them.sluggo wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 7:20 pm I saw a video from a person that bought a lifetime key for Zenology Pro and still has only one bank. All the functionality of the jd800 and jd990 ( except fx block) is available in the zencore engine , only thing missing is the orig. filter
What makes you believe that a jd800 or jd990 vst will sound like the original ?
The jv1080 vst didn't , so why would it be any different ?

Have you tried to shut down Roland cloud and uninstall from windows and remove all zenology files and then open the Roland Cloud and install it again?zvenx wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:18 amNo luck.

All banks show up here Bank A-F and i also tried to do the steps above to see if only bank A showed up but i still got all the banks so it works here.
If you don't have a active membership the Zenology will only show Bank A like it did with the Zenology lite.

I assume you mean active subscription.
