You know what? I wish somebody here would post a link to my music for whatever reason, even if they say "Listen to this crap" because I know it's not crap and I'm not ashamed of it.

You can't be bullied if the music in question is good.

Imagine if somebody posted "Listen to this crap" and linked to music by Bach. They'd be laughed off the planet.

Know what? I listened to Masquerade. Your music suffers from the same malady as most of the stuff posted here. The mix is great. Loved it. The instrumentation was pretty cool too and liked the way you had instruments coming in and dropping out. All good.

But there's no melody. Either that or it's those same notes over and over and over. It wouldn't even make a good backing track because the structure is static. Where's the bridge? Where's something that hints to verse/chorus form?

In short, it's monotonous. But like I said, most stuff posted here is like this because people don't know how to write melodies because, ultimately, they're not songwriters.

They know how to mix and arrange and put chords together. That's it. And that by itself doesn't make a song.

Have I heard worse? Much worse. But this song is obviously somebody who knows music theory as much as I know what you had for breakfast today.

Seriously, write a melody. Then write a B section with a different melody. I know it's a lost art but if you try I bet you can do it.

Also, where is the rest? Intro to what? If people listen to things and you don't provide context, how are they supposed to know?

The song after, that's a minute long. I take it that's not a complete song either.

So do you have any complete songs that I can listen to or are these two songs it?

Look, the guy came here and took a shot at Layzer's music so Layzer fired back and the guy took offense. So he can dish it out but he can't take it. So I simply told the guy, if you don't want people seeing your link, remove it from your signature.

How hard is that?

When somebody lives in glass houses they shouldn't throw stones. If I take a shot at somebody's music, I am fully prepared to take my shot back. This whole "He bullied me" crap is kindergarten stuff.

When you criticize someone's music, you make it personal. Do I need to quote his response? What he said wasn't so horrible. And demanding he remove your link is just childish.
