Surprised myself a bit and actually took the plunge to 13 CE. Got the Thomann deal, who were cool and are sending me the serial number by email for the 12CE upgrade rather than shipping the product (so I'll get the update to 13).

Sweet deal, coming from K11U.

I also was also not expecting to upgrade to ultimate and for sure not to 13 this year, but the deals were too good to pass up. I'm glad I did and I am now really looking forward to some of the new additions of 13 as well.

I was kind of wanting a a good kontakt cello and violin so the cremona quartet should be nice. Sometimes I just don't want all the freedom of audio modeling

.The full symphony series will be a cool bonus. Lots of ambient and orchestral sound design stuff, what with Arkhis, Mysteria, Thrill etc. And even though I have pianos, I am looking forward to Noir. Super-8 should be fun as well. I wonder if I'll be too annoyed by Massive X to use it. If touch screen use still doesn't work, I probably won't bother.

It's obviously a contested subject, but I do enjoy Massive X quite a bit. I don't use it a lot and the UI does have flaws, but once in a while I pull it up and enjoy my time with it and what sounds you can get out of it. So I'd say it's fairly unique at least worth a shot.

Got it in the nick of time. Registered today. Does NI just add K13 to our accounts automatically if we recently registered 12?
