I haven't upgraded to 2005 yet, but I bet it's not that different as far as loading vsts goes...
Please explain your situation a little better. Give an outline of what you are doing and I'll try to help. What do you mean by "empty space"?

Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

sorry bout that.
this is my first time in one of these forums
Basically what I do is either load up my project, record some empty space, and then click on the directx plugins thing on the menu(in order to use vst plugins you have to use this converter that comes bundled with the program) and then open up my synth, tweak the dials like the instructions say, and then hit ok. Once that happens, the empty space stays empty. Sometimes i also just write over some space that is filled by something else. If i do that, then when i hit ok the previous sound is deleted or masked or something. but i know when i do that that the space just becomes empty. No matter how high i put the volume, there is nothing there. By the way, do you have any suggestions for very clearly explained synth plugins?

By synth plugins, do you mean (for example) the Robota drum sequencer? Because that's part of the audio studio.pannewb wrote:I am having Serious Problems getting synth plugins to work in Magix Audio Studio 2005!![]()

Or do you mean using third party plugins (vsts), because you'll have to do that in the Midi Studio.

So there is no way to use synth vst's in Audio Studio 2005?
I was able to get effects working by comverting the vst's into directx format with FXPansion VST-DX Converter that they bundle with the software.

To my knowledge, there's no way to use third party synths in Audio Studio. You can use the supplied Robota, DrumNBase, and Silver synths that come with the Audio Studio. But to use something like a free vst synth from this site, just switch over to the Midi studio that came bundled with.
I really wish they would have just combined the programs
That would have been so cool (and much more user friendly).

At least you can still use vst effects in Audio Studio. Just not the instruments (damn Magix
)
