I noticed that under Featured Specials seem to be outdated. For example the IK Multimedia group buy is still prominently featured (twice), but it's no longer happening, right?

Why do they not inform customers about the scheduled downtime etc. right on the web page? This website down thing with errors is highly unprofessional.

I don't think it's scheduled downtime - as I read in multiple places on the web: there was migration to a new platform and the shop was hacked/hijacked. So it's a hot mess right now, mostly because there is almost no official info on what is going on.

It cannot be reached at all, so I think they took it down. Without posting any info. Static maintenance info pages are best practice. I was think to buy some new instrument from there (good price & before all this the shop had good customer comments). But now it feels very bad, always down & no official information really

Yeah. I understand that things can happen and there are hard times with technology, but there is no info on official Twitter acount, no info on Facebook page, no info on the webpage. I bought the giftcard without knowing about this and now I'm not sure if it went to JRR or the hijackers - no answer to my mail, contact via webpage form or FB Messenger.
