Those may be articles on the synths. If you Google Gforce Quadra, there’s the Quadra page, but further down a whole bunch of other pages for synths that they never released: Octave Cat, Pro Soloist..,
Gforce Software, something new is on its way...

NVidia Quadra is a graphics card so it’s probably the other GForce (GeForce) as GeForce software handles drivers and profile settings for NVidia cards.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 2:29 pmThose may be articles on the synths. It's important to remember that when GForce says something is close, that could easily mean another year (see imposcar 2 thread)

if youre 1 years old, 2 years would seem an eternity.
at 95, 2 years seems to have passed in the blink of an eye.

Nah, it's Gforce Software, but these are links to the "Extras" section of their site. Not product pages. Here's what I mean...WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 2:40 pmNVidia Quadra is a graphics card so it’s probably the other GForce (GeForce) as GeForce software handles drivers and profile settings for NVidia cards.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 2:29 pmThose may be articles on the synths. So I wouldn't assume this is Google leaking confirmation of an ARP Quadra plugin. Doesn't mean it won't be the Quadra either. I think anything you see in that screen capture is a possibility.
But hell, if they had an Arp Quadra, Solina, Octave Cat, and CS-80 all ready to go...that'd be bonkers. But fantasy.

Yep. 'Fraid so.
But Dave Spiers being on Sonic State with the Quadra in the background may have been a cheeky hint that it really will be the Quadra.

not Quadra, they replied. wish it was.
they said "two instruments", no names of course.
CS-80 seems a very likely guess. as for second, CAT seems unlikely, as they have Odyssey done in three revisions. not a string ensemble, they have VSM that they still sell and recently upgraded to V3. My bet second is either Jupiter or Oberheim, 8-voice versions both.

You're forgetting, as had been repeated numerous times, that the e-mail from Gforce spoke of continuing their love for ARP.....Ray Leece wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 5:01 pm not Quadra, they replied. wish it was.

so if it's not Quadra, probably 2600 ? What else from ARP would be worth emulating?

I'm not forgetting anything. It's not Quadra and it's not ARP. they said they might do ARP in the future, as they already have experience with Oddity, but not this time.

Sorry, we don't all have the inside line to actual information that you apparently have.Ray Leece wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 7:16 pm I'm not forgetting anything. It's not Quadra and it's not ARP. they said they might do ARP in the future, as they already have experience with Oddity, but not this time.
Since you seem to have a direct connection to the company itself, could you please post something more about your sources and how you are getting the info besides "not Quadra, they replied" ?

just a random email I sent them, inquiring if they might be interested in modeling Quadra. general inquiry or request, not related to their new releases they have coming up. been asking a few devs to see if anybody's interested. Gforce was one of the guys.
Gforce replied they'd like to do Quadra at some point, and might do ARP again in the future, as they already gained some ARP expertise with Oddity, so it's safe to assume it's not Quadra and it's not anything ARP in terms of "two instruments" that are coming up soon.

I'm really curious what it'll be. Wondering a bit why they don't do a little bit to create a bit of attention.
A small teaser trailer with the upper left corner of the GUI, a guess game what the 2 new plugins will be... stuff like that. I mean, kudos that they don't feel like something like that is necessary, but, it surely would help creating a bit more interest in the new stuff.

I think they learned their lesson with impOscar 2. They showed that off at two NAMMs in a row before releasing it. When it came to Oddity 2 they just surprised everyone, which was probably a better way to go.chk071 wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 7:53 pm I'm really curious what it'll be.
