Gforce is one of the best developers in my book. Every time I use Imposcar I always wonder why the H I am not using it in every production I make. Incredible sound. Really curious on what they will come up with.

Friday was never official, you guys. People here just decided Friday was the day because the email said '3 to 5 days'. But the site has been offline for a week+ now.
Hopefully next week, but we shall see.

They estimated 3-5 days and that it would be back on October 9th. But then again, we all know how GForce are with their estimates!

I'll be honest, I never really get the CS-80 hype. At least not when it comes to VSTs.
The beauty of the CS-80 is the performance controls, the sound itself is very "meh" (not atrocious, just... not anything that stands out from the crowd) and the routings aren't anything you can't get on other synths of the time. And unlike the 106 or Jupe 8 it's not a massive "no matter what you do with the sliders and knobs it'll sound good" sweet spot sort of synth.
Now, a physical CS-80 with the ribbon controller is one thing (and how magical the concept of aftertouch was in 1977 can't be overlooked - not to mention programmable presets!), and the CS-80 definitely deserves its status as a classic synth, but a CS-80 VST is like rigging a full-weight grand piano to play Vox Continental sounds - no matter how much work goes into the endeavour, it just sorta misses the point.

Kaspersky also tries to keep me from accessing that site because of some outdated encryption. I have that problem with several sites. More and more often it says not secure in the browser. Maybe site operators are not upgrading their encryption in order to save money.chk071 wrote: Fri Oct 09, 2020 8:34 pmThe message is new though.
