Acoustic meets electronic?

I'm looking for artists that play acoustic guutar but have more of an Electornic setup? Maybe a bit of glitch or experimental type music? Like a much tamer version of death grips
I used to really love Radiohead, but as I get older I've gone off a lot of their music (minus in rainbows). Bands I currently listen to are nick cave and the bad seeds, folk, boards of Canada campfire headphase (although not their best) is similar to what I'm looking for...
Thank you in advance.

That should get you started.

I like Beck and a lot of Bjork and agree on later Bowie. Haven't heard of the rest so I shall give them a listen now. Thank you.

Maybe poke around in Four Tets earlier works, was often labelled folktronica.
Definitely give Erik Nilsson a listen (https://eriknilsson.bandcamp.com), lovely blend of trad instruments and electronics.

Thank you. I am currently listening to bibio- ambivalence avenue. Really enjoying it. Battles are another warp artist, but I can't get into then. Four Tet is an artist I've never particularly enjoyed.. are there any stand out albums of his? I didn't mind his most recent, but it didn't stand out to me either.

I never really liked Four Tet too much, either, although I believe I was "supposed to" because of the other artists I like. Something a bit twee about his music.chris979899 wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:55 am Thank you. I am currently listening to bibio- ambivalence avenue. Really enjoying it. I agree. It's funny because it ticks all the boxes for genres I like. Then there's artists like Floating Points where I really like Elaenia, but don't like the more house orientated stuff he does (and I like house music).

you know, if you take the time to look in the music cafe you will likely find we have a lot of that. You could start with zerocrossing, we have years of discussions on guitars (but not much on acoustics to be honest) and the man knows his synths...I'm not saying zc is like those he mentioned but he is one of many, many and better still they are here to answer any questions you might havechris979899 wrote: Fri Oct 02, 2020 11:39 amYes I know AFP I remember they did an essential mix that I enjoyed.zerocrossing wrote: Thu Oct 01, 2020 2:16 pm Letās see...
