Thank you :)

Hey Urs could you send a module out to both Ben @ Divkid and Chris at Learning Modular, and sponsor a video or two from each of them?
I have no affiliation, just like their videos (or 'movies' as Chris likes to call them  ) and think they are among the nicest and most dedicated people in modular/synthesis promotion/understanding.

^ Those guys are alright, but personally, I prefer videos about uhe stuff to come from uhe.
I think they are a superbly talented group when it come to all that stuff :tu:

Mylar Melodies and Loopop are also usually really good at making gear look good while being informative. :D

Sure, I for one will definitely be watching them as well. But CVz is a pretty quirky module and I'd like to see it patched by a few different personalities, and different personalities reach different people.

mylarmelodies would be perfect! Hehe he has very expressive hands. :D
loopop always does amazingly thorough reviews but he's mostly doing sort of big integrated instruments, less-so eurorack. CVz is maybe tending a bit esoteric for his channel, and it sure looks like he has his hands full reviewing stuff.
Consider Ricky Tinez. I'd like to see how he uses CVz...and his head bobbing about.

I like Ricky Tinez, but I don't think CVz is his cup of tea. Our videos are actually inspired by him (cheek bones and stuff). Not sure about Mylar either (haven't thought of him yet, I might change my mind as he's a mobile modular guy, thus totally our target group). Anyhow, these guys are busy, I don't have the impression they have the time and patience to learn CVz.

Ben and Chris are definitely on our short list - probably after beta testing and once at least 3 of our own videos are finished.

thats the thing with the modular channels, theyre a very diverse bunch. some things will suit different people.

mylar melodies is one of my faves though, not really in to his music (nothing wrong with it at all, just not my thing so much, maybe if i was at a gig, then yup) but when i first got the idea my rack was happening, he was the one i found, who explained things clearly enough to get me started :)

other than that, i tend to just search an items name, then pick who has done videos on what im after. dont have any channels i follow as such, as in watch everything, although i am subbed to a few.

+1 for Mylar Melodies

He is very good at selling products .. making them seem like they're indispensable.

Looks awesome! Really well done... good choice of voice talent also.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

There's a page now about CVilization, with mode descriptions and a manual and a cheat sheet.

Based on reading the manual, the impression I get is that it should actually be easy to use for the most part, with a cheat sheet only really being required for config stuff. Honestly, the matrix mixer mode seems like it might be friendlier than the AI008 I have now -- deliberately choosing an input and then dialing in the output levels (or vice versa) clarifies their relationships.

Mode 2 seems easy enough to use too. It might be the mode I'd park it in if I just wanted to quantize something without further processing.

Mode 3 seems like something I'd love -- a different take on Marbles, which would probably complement any sequencer. Nice one.

Mode 4 isn't grabbing me right away, but could be a nice occasional gizmo.

I like the addition of the "voltage map" style scales for the quantizer :tu:

CVilization: bought it, some similarities with another module I have, but also many differences.
Either way, animated routing and junk, is tons of fun, I can say that for sure. :tu:
