So is there anywhere to find these pristinely timed, professional-sounding drumloops in WAV format? If not, maybe the dev team will consider it? I certainly think it would not be beyond the bounds of a reasonable request (although I could be wrong).
ST2XL loops available in WAV format?

Hi, I'm wonderring if there's anywhere to find the loops available in ST2XL in WAV format, or if anybody has recorded them and made a big pack specifically for this purpose. I really like the sounds of the loops included (they are all very high quality
) but they are practically useless to me in the format that they are in, since I cannot slice them or chop them.

Yes. The GROOVE CAPSULE. It has loops both in WAVE format AND ST2 XL format (as well as a variety of different samplers too- all from the same product).
You can get it here: www.esoundz.com It is all organized by BPM and come in both full and sliced versions. It could be one of the most diverse collections of loops around and the price is very good too.

Not exactly what I was looking for (I was more looking for something along the lines of not having to buy anything, since I already own these perfectly good loops, and just wanted to utilize them in a different manner), but thanks for the suggestion
.

Oh, I see. Hopefully you'll keep an open mind about the Groove Capsule if you want MORE loops in ST2 (and wave) in the future. Surely the loops in ST2 XL aren't all you'll ever want!
However, if you are wanting to have the ST2 loops in Wave, (btw no one else can distribute copies of those sounds in waves for you) the good news is that you can download something like Chainer from www.xlutop.com (free for the demo version that will do this) and export any of the loops you like to Wav pretty easily. You can't redistribute those to anyone else (not legal) but you CAN use those in your music with other tools such as Recycle etc.

Ah; good idea! Thanks. I'll have to look into that Chainer application.
Why wouldn't ST2 XL's loops be all I would ever want? There's enough variety and quality in there
almost all the loops are great. Not a big fan of loops in general (prefer samples), so my needs are probably different from somebody who uses loops.

Rellik - just render a loop to wav within eXT.
Easy.
