yes. This is less synthetic, more acoustic space.
It's partially convolution based, but not sampled rather than calculated snapshots. (Voxengo Spatifier uses a similar method), and partially delay networks (for late reflections)
Ok thanks :)

Every reverb has its own flavour, and vast majority are just "variation on a theme". There's simply a limited amount of methods you can use to create a reverb.
Given my Toraverb experience, i think it's gonna be good.

What does it mean in polish?

d16 has some quality products so im sure Spacerek is going to sound great. I only have Frontier and Antresol (great flanger!) but they do have a distinct sound dont they?

Hi guys,

Just to clear up. ER isn't IR based. There are no IRs to load, nor IR isn't calculated internally, it's bit different approach.

As for "Spacerek" name in polish it's diminutive word for "stroll" :)

Cheers,

Thank you m00gie. :) So it is actually an algorithmic reverb then?

its a room emulator people. this one is an attempt at more realistic reverbs. more like ROOM.

Their synths definitely do. Phoscyon and LuSH-101 share some similarities in the sound of filter resonance, for example.

Their plugins are, in general, bit of a mixed bag. Some are really nice (Toraverb, Redoptor, Devastor), while some are so-so really. I never was a fan of their delays, for example, and I also find the phasers (Fazortan and Godfazer) and the chorus rather mediocre.

i tend to be the opposite. when Ritchie told everyone to run out and buy them i tuned out and turned off. after everyone got tired of them and moved on to the latest and greatest i went back and found that the stuff sounds pretty damn good.

Who's Ritchie? And what are you talking about? :o

I love the step sequencer style multi-tap delay Tekturon. The other delays aren’t up to much IMO, but find Tekturon really adds something when you dial in a bit of shuffle and resonance and add in a couple of extra sparse steps.

I see. As mentioned, never tried their other products, but was intrigued by Fazortan. Love that one. I guess every company has a hit and miss plugin.

What, you don't know who Ritchie is? :D

There are very few reverbs that allow you to position different sound sources in different locations within a space. With a traditional reverb the early reflections will react the same with each source sound. The sense of location is much more realistic and natural sounding when early reflections differ depending on where the instrument is located within the room, otherwise it sounds like they stacked up on top of each other in the same spot - very unnatural. I currently use Acon Verberate Immersive for placing separate sources in different positions within a room.

I am excited for Spacerek, as it seems to have changeable speaker source locations, so by keeping the mic locations the same and changing the speaker locations to where in the space the sources should be located, highly realistic and natural reverbs may be possible. Looking forward to trying this!
