Well, that was brilliant.
Hope I wasn't the only person who caught it.

You've got to tell us what is was like!!!.
I suppose I can always wait 2 years (joking of course)
for the ABC to show it here.
I shouldn't complain they've been showing 'Little Britain' and repeating every 'Dr.Who' from the very first episode which I missed, although I've only missed maybe one other one and it's now up to Tom Baker as the Dr.,about 1975 I think ? Wow I've seen 10 or 11 years of Dr Who in about a year Phew!!! Ok ABC your off the hook, for now !!!

It was 90 minutes of live footage from bands who've recorded sessions for him.Whoomph wrote:You've got to tell us what is was like!!!.
The earlier stuff seemed to be predominantly from the Old Grey Whistle Test.
With little write-ups scrolling across the bottom of the screen about how many sessions that band did for Peel, what became of them after, when their first session was - you know
Finished with Ash doing Teenage Kicks.
Also had the likes of Roxy, Bowie, Brinsley Shwarze, Misty In Roots, Bob Marley, The Fall, Siouxsie, Joy Division and way, way more than I can remember.
With the ocassional very brief interview thrown in with people like Jarvis Cocker, Billy Bragg etc.
Top viewing.
Thank you Aunty Beeb.
I'll treasure my newly acquired video.
