First dissapointments came in 13th , site didn’t went live on 16 th as Solo Johnson stated and verified .

I am sorry I got the announcement on the 16th. It came with the blog announcement. I had accessed the site after I saw the mentions here and it was not available to me (maybe the DNS server I am on), so I wrongly assumed that it was more speculation.

Either way, no disappointments other than the site feels slow. We will get some new products when we do.

I wondered what the moon landing has to do with recreating vintage synths, but actually it's not so different! We are trying to recreate something with different technology that apparently is not so easy!
What good is landing on the moon, if you just go and destroy the technology so you can't do it again? That's a bit of an oopsy eh? Along with recording over the tapes that contained the telemetry data. I think NASA needs new management. Successful mission? Great, now destroy everything! And re-use those tapes, we don't 'em anymore. Let's give the conspiracy theorists something to talk about!

Anything accomplished on 1969 tech is infinitely easier and far less expensive to do in 2019 (a 50 year tech leap is huge, just compare the videogame visuals from pong and Atari to now, or look how far VSTs have come since 2007 when Creamware DSP were the only good ITB synths, now surpassed by U-he, Synapse and Softube). Our cheapest 2020 smartphones have like 100x the computing power of the most advanced 1969 microprocessor. Technology never goes backwards. There should be mining and other commercial / private sector space flights on a annual basis by now, if not more frequent. A Moon based theme park perhaps "Disney - North"? The Jetsons had it right.
