Help for new audio interface (moving away from UAD)

Regardless of what you choose, I think what a lot of people fail to realize about digital interfaces is, there's no conversion involved once you reach optical, toslink or 75/110 ohm coax. So if you've ever used an RME (or other) type card in the past and there's just ADAT optical or SPDIF coax inputs on it, this means there isn't any conversion involved because both of those formats are already digital ! That's the part about digital interfaces I think can be the most confusing for some people.. and it may also be the reason why things sound like crap !

I've been using Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 for many years with no issue as far as music production.

So far the only issue I've encountered is Bandicam will not record sound with Asio drivers since they override Windows sound drivers.
