I feel like people want everything to perfectly model every detail of analog hardware while using 0% CPU.

I don't do that all the time, it was a test, as I read comments of high CPU usage. I think the usage is quite high. When I switched to the laptop I was getting 40% cpu hit with just one instance. The differential is way more than I get with any other plugins, way more hit than AA plugins even. The HQ switch barely does anything.

This is a beautiful emulation, very tweakable, and the presets do a good job of showing its capabilities. Well done, instabuy!

For me, 10 instances (VST3, 64 bit) is about 6% CPU. Running on a Ryzen 3600.

Sound very good and fun

Admittedly, I am easily pleased but I like the webpage idea of mixing presets yourself so you can hear the Echo Cat in action with various sounds.
This is cool and I wish more developers would do these nifty things on their webpages

In order to ease the CPU load, click on the main menu and select "Enable OpenGL" if it's not already enabled.
We keep working on optimisations.

- Added: Mix and HQ parameters are now locked. They don't change their value when switching presets.
- Added: new presets.
- Improved: CPU performance.
