I hate wireless. That cold absence of wires that leaves us dangerously untethered and at risk of wandering off of a cliff or accidentally falling in to a wood chipper because there wasn't that reassuring yank of a wire stretched to its limit that says "Hey buddy. You've wandered a bit too far and should pay more attention to where you're going"

Ha! That's too amazing, like peering over a cliff into the pit of despair. So beautiful, yet so horrendous at the same time... I'd be in sonic heaven, but it would soon turn to hell

I think the solution is:

Take everything out. Clean everything. Put everything back (only essentials) with extremely tidy cabling and see whether that changes my view of things. Creative studio setups and cleanliness just don't always seem to last long

Or not with me, anyway. I've found coffee ring marks in really unusual places, which suggest a disrespect for gear.

years lost trying to convince myself that i can be productive with hardware and i always end up agreeing with the OP.

I hate wires and ugly tech!
