I know some older versions of the free Mixxx DJ software and find it amazing. Is it worth to install the Serato DJ Lite at all, which is coming with the controller?
How do the stripped down versions of commercial DJ software compare to the free Mixxx?
I am just curious and having already fun with the newest Mixxx 2.3 beta...
Got a new Dj2Go - Mixxx or Serato Lite?

It depends on what you want to achieve. Mixxx has many bells and whistles but it's not as solid as Serato which is the choice of many professional DJ's. You're not going to be able to access any of the advanced option in Mixxx with a DJ2Go controller due to its physical limitations.
Personally I'd go with the bundled Serato and when you get a more advance controller you can upgrade the software to the full version and unlock all of its features. There's loads of videos on You Tube demoing Serato. Roland use Serato as software partners for their DJ controller's.
Virtual DJ is worth a mention too which happens to be my personal favorite.
