You can only move on when you want to. That's evident.

You REALLY believe that? That Ableton users are brilliant and talented people and Bitwig's are a bunch of loosers?liquidsound wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2020 3:25 pm In the meantime Ableton users are producing quite great stuff without trying to be Cubase S1 etc or populating the freaking projects with unlimited modulation nightmare![]()
But of course it feels better to justify a personal defeat in the ability to use a daw by showing the new toy in a thread dedicated to help other DAWs users.
Brilliant!
I'd advice you to go to Discord for both and see quality of discussion, questions asked and replies given to see how it really is. The fact that there's more big (doesn't mean - good) artists and more commercial releases is just a matter of how long it's been on the market and how many people use it. It's a numbers game. There's mountains of clueless, talentless people producing derivative and shitty music on Ableton, too.
But go ahead. Justify your DAW choice because Skrillex is using it

You came here first justifying your move to “the Clone” on your first post.
Are your so insecure about your move (you are probably not producing as much as before since you moved to BW as you even stated on Reddit as well) that you need to keep on posting at every Ableton thread?
You may be not even qualified to judge Ableton in the first place even though I like your humor as usual
Nothing personal and enjoy your you latest DAW of Choice (?
Btw a good tip for you: don’t look back.
You know what I mean....

This is such great advice. Started doing this A LOT more recently and my mixes end up way better because I don't endlessly tweak and mess things up.antic604 wrote: Thu Oct 22, 2020 6:53 amOh, and bounce ("freeze & flatten" in Ableton speech) stuff often & early, so that you can avoid the temptation to endlessly tweak things. If you're bold enough, throw away the source / MIDI; if not, then at least hide it away in some folder.Freddyhaynes wrote: Thu Oct 22, 2020 5:19 amAnyone got any tips or tricks in ableton that have greatly improved their workflow?
