Hey guys, just wanted to share my new soundset for Icarus 2 with you guys

Soundset contains 150 presets and weighs in around 200MB of embedded samples and wavetables.

I believe this is your best sound set. It sounds very unique compared to the others and you seemed to work well with it.

Hey Markus! Apparently you've been busy, but I wanted to check if I and my Icarus 2 can get some love in the shadow of Warlock

I'd really love to see ADSR reaction to HW controllers fix.
May be other goodies like search field (or even tags), but first things first

Hi guys, i recently tried out icarus2 and yes ir is very very powerful and it seems very powerful and still not so hard to understand, BUT im really disappointed in the randomization.... only 1 osc is active and a lot of parameters are untouched.... i know warlock is not so complex but even rayblaster or gladiator has a better random feature? I am a sucker for random features, it doesnt replace professional designed sounds but sometimes are nice inspirations, interesting results and sometimes nice filler sounds for music. Markus, do you plan to improve this feature hopefully? Again a great synth it seems just this feature is really half baked :/

The random-button in Icarus2 will be enhanced in the future. However it will not be possible to make it work as good as in Warlock - because this synth nearly always sound good, no matter what setting you make. Icarus is way too complex for this

Too have the option to include/exclude some sections (like soundsources, fx, filters, lfo....) in the randomn process would be to much effort I assume ?

The Arp, the Wavetables and the Glitch-sequencer already can be randomized separately.
Adding another random function would be partially redundant and overload the interface, which is already filled-to-the-rim with features.

Out of curiosity guys which genre would you say this synth suits most? I have avanger and rapid that I'm very satisfied with so just wanted to know how this would fit into psy edm, hard dance / big room. Thanks!

For me personal, Icarus 2 is much better than Avenger.
It gives me a lot more creativity and fresh ideas.
Ofcourse, most styles you mentioned.
Probably for Hard dance other Tone 2 synths.

For fun, you can check here, but I didn't own Icarus 2 that time, those are short demo tracks, which were produced for Tone 2 company, as they are, no additional mastering, just sounds from synths and 3rd party (drum, hi-hats)
There are mixed synths from Tone 2.
