I am glad to help!
Yes, it can be 4000MHz.
Some engineering sample had that speed, but I am not sure if the versions
we will have next month are capable of that, but they can sell updated
CPU versions at any time.
A less expensive alternative to the Crucial RAM

Pictus, I realize I have yet to ask the most crucial (heh) question: From the specs, which one of the new Ryzens would you buy to meet the requirements of a DAW PC (I do tax the CPU heavily in my projects btw)? Is the 5800X "efficient enough" or is the step up to the 5900X an important one?

This question is way above my paygrade. :o
Sorry, I can't answer that or what are the next lottery numbers.
But I can point out some tests of the Ryzen 3000:

Well the 3800X is a little underwhelming in the benchmarks compared to the 3900X. I guess this relation i performance will be somewhat similar comparing 5800X and 5900X. The performance of the 3950X is fantastic so if I win the lottery I will certainly pick the 5950X. But to be realistic, I think the 5900X is what I should set my sights on.
