Yeah, fantastic, eh? Really makes me want to support a developer like that. Inversely, I had a problem trying to buy Ohmboyz Infinite, and it took them 5 days to let me know that I should try again. They knew there was an issue... yet never resent an email explaining it had been fixed. :dog:

As Consumers we all know these phenomena already. Gloss makes me sceptical already (they have something to hide). And "modern" Companys usually save on their Support and other "shared Services". But however: same thought. I ended up buying the eXplorer 6 Upgrade and am looking forwards for lots of Ear Candy :)

But just to mention that: Support-Attacks are a plausible Weapon in Competition today and I have already read someone nagging about the Company because he was too stupid to pay with PayPal :D

This is the first time I've looked at Blade. Truly an original synth, and incredibly fun. Different than everything else out there. I've never found it useful to edit individual partials, so Blade's control-based approach is refreshing, and makes partials truly playable. The only other thing I could wish for is a harmonic filter ala Thorne.

That said, I probably wouldn't have bitten were it not for Blade 2 coming out. The added traditional OSC and tunable noise make all the difference.

One oddity from Rob's demos: He talked about partials with alternate waveforms. How does that even work? The definition of a partial is a sinus wave. Other waveforms would add additional harmonics above the partial.

I'm also curious if Blade 2 allows more than 96 partials. It matters on the low-end.

My favourite bit about Blade 2 is the actual Blades. Swish swish. Also the tiny tiny knobs. Twiddle twiddle.

Did you like the older longer blades? I thought they looked immature.

I think Rob Paper’s instruments look more “retro”. Some people like that look very much and find it easy to work flow with it. I think that is also the minus side because you really need to like this retro look.

BTW, while it doesn't include resynthesis, you can load external samples and analyze them to come up with new additive waveforms. Neat.

And Blade 2 is out as of this morning. If you recently purchased Blade or own Explorer 6, it's in your downloads.

A properly scaled UI is so nice. Let's hope the other current RP plugins also get a properly scaled treatment.

It might be technically brilliant (I don't know) but it sounds a bit pants on my monitor speakers.

Video sounds OK here, but looks awful. I'm not sure if it's just the video quality, but the labels on the controls are not legible/barely legible against that background.

We´ve already made a Party, waited for Weeks and all we get are just 30 Pads? I really hope for a Lockdown so RP is forced to improve this Bug asap. I´m not willing to be satisfied with just one Circle To TimbrePad. And an adequate Demo for the 10 CC Choir is mandatory for giving such a Patch Name. So confusing... I had such a good Impression. I was ROFL hearing Blade kick some show-offs Asses with the left Foot. But Quality must be Quantity. Otherwise it remains a Milestone.

Sounds good to me in that video, gonna demo it!
