I just heard an ad for a cell phone provider which used Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way". Yeah, a song about an unfaithful lover is what I want to associate with my cell phone provider.
Of course, not as bad as "There She Goes" by the La's (or Sixpence's cover) being used to sell birth control. But I guess at least they are talking about drugs either way.
Any other odd choices for songs in advertising?
