I'm looking to draw custom LFO and Envelope modulation waves on my iPad and run CV out into a synthesisers CV in. Ideally I'd like the ability to slot this into an analog signal chain.
If anyone has any tips and an App that would cover my needs, that would helpful. I'm imagining something like Cableguys Volume Shaper but for IOS.
Guessing I may need some kind of I/O box attached to my iPad too?
Thanks for any input

CV Mod is supposed to do this. I couldn't get it working to my satisfaction the one time I tried to use it but the problem may have been me rather than the app.

Maybe Drambo? It comes with a Graphic Modulator module. I highly recommend joining the Audiobus forum because they can help you with all the other questions you might have like connecting your iPad to your hardware etc. And maybe they have some other recommendations regarding an lfo tool.

Not totally what you're asking for, but somewhat related. I got a second-hand FH1 (Expert Sleepers) for just over $100, and then bought this really cool little thing to send midi out from the iPad to the FH1: http://compasflamenco.com/midi-c-3/midi-usbusb-p-4.html
Works perfectly to send any midi signal from any app that sends them to my modular setup. Currently I have the most fun with these two apps:
- Ribn: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/ribn/id1413777040
- https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kb-1-keyb ... 1437919435
So not super cheap, but it works seamlessly and easily, with basically one cable (and the camera kit plus that little USB dongle). Convert any midi signal the iPad spits out into CV.
