Looking for decent software oscilloscope

Hi,
I've been looking for a software oscilloscope (vst, or standalone software), which shows pitch harmonics on x-axis, in Hz, but preferably with key octave pitches there as well.. Ability to record the reading live for replay, would be needed as well...
Any suggestions appreciated!

Scope is probably too basic for the wanted functionality but worth a try https://www.discodsp.com/scope/

Those 2 are pretty great (and free):

Doesn't it still require the USB dongle?

Robin schmidt toolchain ( it also includes signal analyzer and one of the best freeware 303 emulators )

MOscilloscope is pretty great, with the auto normalization and the pitch detection which automatically zooms-in the waveshape single cycle.
I actually use the one in MMultiAnalyzer, which works the same way.

Yep. Whenever I need that, I reach for MOscilloscope. Can be very handy sometimes.Niowiad wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2020 6:00 pm MOscilloscope is pretty great, with the auto normalization and the pitch detection which automatically zooms-in the waveshape single cycle.

So it has the pitch keys lettered along the top, so can see where harmonics are in terms of proximity to true octaves etc?Niowiad wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2020 6:00 pm MOscilloscope is pretty great, with the auto normalization and the pitch detection which automatically zooms-in the waveshape single cycle.

Actually no. I happened to read "oscilloscope" in the title then also saw someone mentioned MOscilloscope.
Looking back at the actual OP, I'm not exactly sure an oscilloscope (which mainly displays the waveform) is what you're looking for, but maybe a spectrum analyzer (which displays the harmonic spectrum), as some people suggested.
Melda has the free MAnalyzer, which also shows Hertz value and (rounded up/down) pitch value for the most prominent harmonics detected in the signal.
This screenshot is displaying a "static" triangle wave at F2 fundamental.
With more complex and "non-static" signals, everything gets obviously more chaotic and more difficult to read.
It really depends on what kind of material you're feeding in.
