Hi all, I'm new here. As per title this is my current situation. I have VSTs I would like to use on my PC but I can't. Is there a way to send midi to my pc and get audio back to the speakers in front of my keyboard? I considered buying a laptop but I'd prefer to spend the money to upgrade my desktop. Thanks in advance.

I'd get a laptop. Doesn't make much sense to me to have your PC on another floor. How do you want to connect your display/monitor? Or your mouse and keyboard? How do you want to connect your speakers?

Get a really long cable for your midi keyboard and drill a small hole in the ceiling to pass the cable through?

@chk071 I have an iPad with Chrome remote desktop. speakers I was thinking XLR.

Master Midi keyboard and desktop PC on different floors
