Haha, unfortunately, no, it doesn’t mean that. It was just a promo we decided to run as a trial since 30 days is not a lot of time to try out the entire collection.

ah ok, thanks.

It's coming on 3 years now since Anthology XI came out. There are 8 more plugins available. Please, just do it Eventide! Give us Anthology XII this winter!

Hmm.. Don't give us... I own Anthology X and then XI, previously all the new publushed plugins, after the bundle release, were included to the bundle, i. e. the Anthology owner got them free of charge.

That was chanded about 2 years ago, after that the latest Anthology owner had to pay for the new plugins. E. g. I have purchased most of the new plugins.

This makes the release of the Anthology XII useles for most of the Antholigy XI owners - in fact, it would just irritate us.

So - Eventide, don't give use Anthology XII. Or if you will, remember compensate the existing stuff in the price.

Honestly, you got a choice; buy all the plugins as they come out, or wait for an update to Anthology. I thought the upgrade to XI from X for $1 if you had 4 plugins you bought that were not part of X was a pretty fair deal, and I went for it. Got myself Tverb in the process. I've bought SP2016 Reverb and Spring since XI came out, and have several others in my library that are overlap, just waiting to get used in whatever deal they come up with this next time. I just hesitate to buy more just to get them included in XII. Wasn't all that impressed with Crystals as those types of pitched reverbs sound SOOO much better on my H8000FW. Eventide usually nails their classic effects pretty good. Wasn't impressed with that one compared to the H3000/DSP4000/H8000's versions of those types of effects.

Eventide has one of the fairest upgrade policies in the industry. If you have most of the new plugins you essentially get the Anthology upgrade for free. At least it has been that way in the past.

Also, they will likely have a sweet deal on BF.

Not that I am aware of, but they usually release the new plugins in short succession first and then follow up with the new bundle. The would point to a release of Anthology XII in the not too distant future.

I recall Eventide offering upgrades to Anthology based on how much of the stuff in the bundle you owned. Did I make that up? If I didn’t, it sounds like they'd offer a good deal for anyone looking to upgrade to Anthlogy XII whenever it becomes available.

It has not been confirmed. It's been 3 years since XI, so I'm simply wondering with so many new plugs they already have and the length of time that they might be coming out with XII. Total speculation/hope on my part.
