Pendulate

Post

I shuffled through several different ideas before finding one that captured my attention. Now here I am after 2 days of mostly writing.
https://soundcloud.com/anotherbenjamin/inquire-within

33 instances of Pendulate (16 of those are for my chords and pads, and a few are layered together into single sounds)

Produced in Reaper 6, with help from:
15x Octarone Key Tuner (plus a few other supporting MIDI tools)
10x ReaEQ
10x ReaComp
4x Cocoa Delay
3x Protoverb
2x Dragonfly Room Reverb
2x OTT
Gclip
ReaGate
Airwindows DeRez2
Ping Pong Pan
MAutopan
Limiter No6
Voxengo SPAN
MLoudnessAnalyzer

This feels like the most post-processing I've done on an OSC track in a long while, due to workflow changes I've picked up outside of OSC.
mostly here for the One Synth Challenge
you can hear some of my newest music at: https://wrenharmonic.bandcamp.com/ or https://www.youtube.com/@wrenharmonic

Entry:
https://soundcloud.com/hennessey/bh9090 ... endulate-1

17 instances in Live, only DAW effects: Delays, Auto Filter, Auto Pan, EQ8, Echo, Compressors. Limiter.

Lot's of random LFOs controlling effects. Each render would be different. Don't have time to do multiple, so here's the first.

Ext. Fx: Nova, Kotelnikov, TAL Reverb 2

Cheers

Hey Everyone!

I started this track way back at the beginning of the month. I almost didn't make the deadline. I thought tomorrow was the last day of the month. But I made it!

https://soundcloud.com/lionsclub-1/breaking-free

Studio One 4
5 tracks of pendulate
4 S1 Pro EQs on individual tracks

On FX buses:
Tal Plate Reverb
S1 Pro EQ
Surge Effects - Reverb
S1 Analog Delay

On Master:
S1 Limiter
Youlean Loudness Meter

I tend not to use drums, but ironically this month I felt drums could really add to my track :)

Hi all
My first entry in a while. Anyone else having a strange year? I lost my flow with OSC, time to get back on it :)
https://soundcloud.com/zarf/zarf-enough-chaos
15 instances of Pendulate in Studio One.
Only DAW fx: eq on most tracks, few compressors, few reverbs. One limiter on master.
Studio One is new to me. Trying something different. It's like cooking in an unfamiliar kitchen - everything is harder and confusing and time consuming. Honestly, I have no real idea what I'm doing in this DAW :x So never mind the strange and poorly mixed track! (Who am I trying to kid that that's any different to usual from me :D )

Another one I put some time in early in the month, and had to rush at the close - but that's life these most recent six months for me. Pendulate is a lot of fun. Super-high-quality sounds and controls.

Daw: Reaper 6
Pendulate x 17
ReaEQ x 10
ReaComp x 3
Transpire x 2
Dragonfly Hall Reverb x 4
Valhalla Supermassive x 2
Voxengo Span x 1
Limiter No 6 x 1
TDR Nova x 1

good luck everyone!! i am listening now to some entries, i always take my time, i want to vote, listening to the merits of the track itself, not by taste, but how sounds/patches are used and of course composition..... not always that easy. i will take my time.
but already heard some interesting, or even pretty awesome entries.

nice!

(i placed my entry on a secondary account, but it seems i can only react from my primary account (sadà\exposadà), so i will add WasteLand before any reaction... my second account is for sketches, and expirements..
EDIT: it was my noscript blocker... so i can now do it from the account with my entry..)

Thanks for the comments people leaving on my song!

In response to Leonardo Amaral: it wasn't intended to be a seagull sound, and it wasn't intended to be a mallet sound. I wasn't intending realism at all. Also i hadn't intended that it sound humourus, but i am very glad that you enjoyed it. :)
