Hi,

Sorry for asking, but how do you set the metronome in Logic?
If I use no asio drivers I can get midi sounds and I can hear the metronome, but no waves.
If I do use the asio driver I get my waves to sound, but no midi and no metronome :(
I don't care for the midi, cause I'll be using VSTi's and waves, but I would like to actually hear the metronome...

What platform?

What version of Logic?

In logic 4 or previous, you can create a metronome object, cable it to an audio instrument, and load a VSTi to play a sound of your choice, like a hi hat, tambourine... Save it in your autoload, and you're smokin.

In Logic 5 and later, there is a built-in synth called klopfgeist. Create an Audio Object, assign it to Audio Instrument 64, and it should automatically be set for you.

My version is RCP Pro, it's a customized version based on 5.1, and I am on PC.
I don't have the klopfgeist, but I do have some VSTi's with drumsounds.

I have read parts of the manual, but haven't yet read about objects and stuff.
What you're telling me sounds cool; I make a metronome, and cable it to a VSTi.
I'll try it.

Thanks!
