I think that's very true, certainly why I like their stuff.

I really like the deep reverb in Byome/triad and wondered whether they'd ever look at a separate reverb plug, deeper editing etc.

the UA modulation system on a creative reverb would be interesting.

Byome currently for $29,99 with code PMPKN-2999 - last day today (1st of November 2020): https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... byome.html

I think I like the interface better in Byome. I saw posts where PA said Byome gets used more, easier workflow, but hopefully Triad is not so difficult in comparison.

Just missed it! But I guess PA does insane discounts like that more often?

Yeah - here: SPOOKY-2999 expires tomorrow.
(Make sure that it's BYOME and not TRIAD that you want. Personally I would go for TRIAD).

Oh thank you... I'm going to have to think about this more...

I just got BYOME and it sounds fantastic, but I'm having problems with popping/clicking on the Granulator. I've adjusted all of the controls but nothing smooths out the pops. I'm using it with a guitar amp sim Neural DSP Cory Wong and playing in real time. Here is a screenshot of my settings, is there anything I can do to get rid of the popping/clicking? Thanks.

The thing about UA plug-ins I've realised, is that the presets are terrible, as in unusable in any context. I think Byome may be an exception as there seem to be some usuable tweakeable stuff there but Sandman Pro, Fault, et al? Terrible, just terrible. Or is that just me?

Well worth the price!
Unfiltered Audio has some very innovative plugins.

I agree that a lot of UA presets are heavily weighted towards glitchy FSU/"Richard Devine masturbating robot army" sounds. That said the presets for Zip and SpecOps are great for learning the nuances of their plugins, and UA's focus on spectral analysis, sample rate reduction, granular processing, and extensive modulation are bound to create some pretty out-there sounds.

I prefer Byome as the interface for both Byome and Triad is quite poorly designed when using a lot of the internal fx. Hence I am selling Triad and using Byome as it is effectively one clunky interface rather than three squashed together as in Triad
Cant deny how great they sound and how powerful they are.

I don't know what music you make or what you're feeding it or expecting but these are experimental creative FX that can be heavily dependent on the material you feed it. You can't find any usable presets in Fault? It's based on a frequency shifter which inherently sounds metallic but some presets put it great use especially in the Spatial folder where it adds an interesting type of stereo width and tremolo. Sandman Pro has some basic delay presets in "Simple" but did you really buy it for that?

People were/are complaining about LION. Yeah, there's a lack of bread and butter presets, but I realized I can make them myself, and that's not really taking advantage of what it offers. I did end up making presets slightly more interesting than bread and butter based on the oscillators alone. But the presets are there to be illustrative and geared toward experimental just like the plugins are.
