We've got quite a few. A couple of the oldest are British; Analogue Systems and Analogue Solutions have been at it nearly as long as Doepfer.vurt wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 5:26 pmomg its british made

not that ive ever looked tbh, just never noticed any.
i think pedals get more "british made" (or any country)comments, at least in videos, whereas theres less of that in modular videos.. so you kind of know theres a few boutique pedal peeps.

Crea8 what makes the Nifty are also in the UK. Also, Music Thing, Expert Sleepers, AJH (bought my original Doepfer rack off him, y'know), Kenton. Plus whoever it is that I cant remember that makes the Gristlizer modules*. In Scotland we've got Instruo, though GMSN folded.
* Aha, Poogle says Future Sound Systems.
Ive seen a map with about 40 UK module makers on it!

Wasn't the final compromise proposed as keeping 'eurorack' dimensions, but with no potentiometers or LED's allowed?

IIRC, that's what started the whole "normalled" (pre-patched) rebellion, decades ago.vurt wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 9:02 pmeurope keep the cables and patching rights in uk racks.Shabdahbriah wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 9:00 pmWasn't the final compromise proposed as keeping 'eurorack' dimensions, but with no potentiometers or LED's allowed?

yeah, but its okay, as long as your cables are routed through a non-checkpoint non-customs customs checkpoint on the Irish border.vurt wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 9:02 pmeurope keep the cables and patching rights in uk racks.Shabdahbriah wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 9:00 pmWasn't the final compromise proposed as keeping 'eurorack' dimensions, but with no potentiometers or LED's allowed?
