I figured out that you can get stereo panning out of mode 4 without an additional mixer, by self-patching outputs 3/4 into inputs 3/4, and panning inputs 3/4 to outputs 2/1 without autopanning or CV.

Of course you could run outputs 3/4 through a stereo effect first -- I'm having lots of fun with FX Aid for that.

Hah! I haven't thought of that. Brilliant idea :)

Hey what are those blue patch cables? Luigi's Modular? I love those and am wanting some more
but he shut down. If those are not from him that would be great, cuz they look exactly the same.

-Thanks

btw if anyone is interested: here a musical test of the cvilization being used as a sequencer, for bass, lead and rhythm? maybe all at the same time. It's a bit long and slow to get goin, but it's interesting to hear what it does as I'm not really messing with it. Mode 2 seq switch, so it's chopping up, routing, re-quantizing and mixing in some random. anyway, I thought it interesting.

The drum are just some drum loops from the assimil8or... *gotta love soundcloud, for a day or so it had 7 likes and only 1 play.

The blue ones are shielded cables from Polar Noise. I bought 10 and one of them was defective, so I'm not sure whether I'd recommend them. I prefer Modular Addict skinny cables, but they've been out of stock for ages.

(The shorter ones are Control Crono.)

Hmm ok thanks, I have some polar noise cables but not the shielded ones. Never had a problem
with them, they are thinner like the modular addict cables actually. Weirdly, the only cables
I have had fail are the Hosa patch cables which most say are great

It's possible I just got unlucky with Polar Noise. Erthenvar was the worst I've tried as far as defects/failures go, but they're not around anymore...

Finally got around to finishing my first CVilization video...

I need to find a better angle for the next one, my blurry hand covers most of the shot throughout the video.

I just noticed that Perfect Circuit now has units in stock. I think I'm ready to order another!
