Good to know am not the only one who's coming to a point with it all.... I mean, I love the tech, but it has its drawbacks... probably because one has to devote a huge amount of time to it, which can detract from learning an instrument properly, and writing stuff or playing with others....cocoazenith wrote: Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:55 pm years lost trying to convince myself that i can be productive with hardware and i always end up agreeing with the OP.
years lost... know the feeling... maybe not lost.... some people watch TV, others go fishing, other people like to mess with hardware... I guess if it's no fun, or if one analyses the fact that it isn't taking one in the required direction, then it's time to take stock......

You probably wouldn't have enjoyed this then. I used this design like this for about 5 or 6 years while I was testing before I eventually built an enclosure and put the circuit on a board.
