So is Reveal Sound, and recursive one, does that matter in some way?
I don't know if you knew, but, Reveal Sound first had their registered office in Belize (well known place in Russia to circumvent taxes), and now it's in the Czech Republic (if you're in for a laugh, do a Google Maps search for the place ).

I don't want to say that the same has to be the case here (or that it's a general thing), just that VarikusBrainZ might have had a bit of a point with his surely humorously meant comment. At the very least, I'd recommend not to take things so serious the whole time. ;)

You might be right, just thought it was a strange and prejudicious comment, but could be humorously meant, and in that case I appologize.

189€ for a supersaw synth, well good luck :)

It appears that the synth exists for more than a year already.

Here's a video, it's in Russian but you can hear what it sounds like, how the filters work, how the unison works etc (from 2:40)

I'm too lazy to swith my Virus on right now and compare but from my memory it sounds more or less close (except the distortion, it sounds lame in that video).

It the context of a track (at 12:20)

That's one of the creators of the synth, he's locally known as a trance producer and a maker of tutorials.

It seems I can actually buy it for about 150 USD in our currency, but still... only the hypersaw, no demo, i can't see why I would choose that over Viper/Spire/Hive. If it was 40-50 bucks I would think about it.

¨Does it do the Feedback osc etc. ? Too lazy to check, also seems no one bother to emulate the other features of JP8000. Its WAY more than just the supersaw though.

Didn't spot that, it seems that it only does the supersaw

Diva?

And Virus is WAY more than the hypersaw.

Apparently this has been changed more often. In the current terms and conditions, the address is
Russia, 445035, Samara region, Togliatti, st. Industrial, house 9, room 34

Post

I remember from one Reveal Sound mail I received (I deleted it, so can't check) that their address written at the bottom was in UK... :?

Post

The latest e-mail I got form Reveal 12 days ago also says Togliatti. I quickly googled that address, it's an office building, so looks like a legit address

Surprised this has been around for a few months. Looks limited, but does seem to deliver nicely on hypersaw. If the company was more open, provided a demo, and priced Navira around $49, they would have an interesting offer.

*edit. Further videos show more depth. $99 would be interesting.

Seems odd they haven't bothered promoting it anywhere despite being out a year, have they been promoting it in Russia like on VK and whatever the Russian version of KVR is ? $189 for just doing saws though is way too much when you look at something like JP6K which does similar and is only 25 euro's or Viper for 89 that does the entire Virus

Post

The pricing is so ridiculous it almost seems like an elaborate prank.

I don't know, never heard of this synth before yesterday and I do check Russian music-making forums and communities every so often (and I'm a big fan of Virus so I thought I must be aware of any emulation in existence).

There are quite a few videos in Russian but they have 1K plays max.

They make trance-related tutorials and master-classes (also only in Russian afaik), maybe that's how they promote the synth.
