Seems that it's not only the hypersaw
There are some wavetables and FM in there too

Now that becomes more interesting
I didn't find this video on youtube, only in vk.com, can you play it? (it will play an ad for 10 seconds, skip it in the upper right corner)

What I really like about the sound in the sound examples is that there's a lot of punch in the attack phase, unlike some soft synths, which just sound super soft on the attack, or with short decay times when you modulate the filter cutoff. You can hear that they went for a sound close to the Virus/JP-8k, and the sound examples already show that it's a very good sounding synth.
Anyway, Spire already does all that for me, TBH, and my lust for another synth is really zero since quite a while now, and, when I take a look at the price tag, and sold feature, it's a no really. I can see how the synth can be interesting for others though, seems like a nice one.

Yep, it does sound very convnincing and the feature set is more interesting than what I originally thought.chk071 wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 4:30 pm What I really like about the sound in the sound examples is that there's a lot of punch in the attack phase, unlike some soft synths, which just sound super soft on the attack, or with short decay times when you modulate the filter cutoff. There is an option for monthly payment (seems only available in Russia tho) but I'm still quite hesitant about buying something that expensive without a demo.
Can you play the video?

In first 30 seconds they only show the unison engine. More insetesting stuff happens later, they show FM with different wavetables at around 4:00 and it actuially sounds kinda nice (still the same annoying riff tho).AnX wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 5:10 pm lasted 30 seconds with that fuckin annoying riff
cant hear anything that other synths can't do so far... nothing special at all...

Sounds more authentic than this Synthmaker plugin "Viper" and it seems to have more functions than you might think at first. But the question is: why the developers don't advertise it. Is it still in alpha state?

I do
Actually I know many other people from our local forums who only use legit music software (at least they say so)
Russia used to be a warez paradise with sites like [oops, nobody should know about that!] but this seems to be a thing of the past mostly.

More I watch these videos, more I think that it sounds superb. Really good sound. Too bad that it is little bit shady or something. Expensive, no demo and so on. But it sounds really good, perhaps best Virus clone I've heard.

Yeah, plays alright. Even without ads, when you have an adblocker.recursive one wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 4:46 pmYep, it does sound very convnincing and the feature set is more interesting than what I originally thought.chk071 wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 4:30 pm What I really like about the sound in the sound examples is that there's a lot of punch in the attack phase, unlike some soft synths, which just sound super soft on the attack, or with short decay times when you modulate the filter cutoff. Yes, the synth has the potential to become something really big, maybe like Spire or as the best Virus TI emulation.HcDoom wrote: Sun Nov 08, 2020 6:49 pm Too bad there is no demo and price is ridiculous. But it sounds good!
But I've never heard of the synth since today and even the Facebook page has only 11 subscribers. So they are not interested in selling the synth at the moment.
I don't even want to talk about a demo version or an introductory price.
Let's wait and see what happens in the next months.

It sounds really nice, I hope they will release a demo version.
