Whatever the answer, it might be worth holding off a week to see if Apple’s ARM port of Logic Pro (for its new ARM Macs launching next week) is coming across to iPad as well. It’s not exactly a longshot, but it’s also far from certain

Garageband is what I ended up using (I bought every option except Cubasis 3 which had too many bug complaints). Best UI (in my opinion). Missing some important features but I can make do.robinjinho wrote: Tue Nov 10, 2020 1:24 am can anyone recommend the best daw for ios in terms of ui and flexibility?
And yes, now that Apple Silicon Macs are out and Logic works native there, I am also hopeful that some version of Logic will come to iOS.

Cubasis 3 is on sale right now for Xmas. I have a love-hate relationship with Steinberg products. I have Cubasis 2 and am not sure I want to plop down the cash for 3. I pretty much stopped using Cubase at version 9. I just hate the interface, but on paper the options keep getting better and better.
