so how does the morphing work, you can morph any instruments that you already have or is it limited to specific instruments?

Wow, great update and for free, the morphing feature is really amazing.

The morphing feature mercilessly kicks ass :harp:
I wasn't expecting anything like this, although it makes perfect sense considering the technology they have their hands on.
They have every kind of control on the sound components of the physically modeled instruments, so they can provide ultra smooth and seamless transitions between the different morphing stages.

All Pianoteq instruments, the ones you own, or the demos which have the usual limitations.
You can either morph between two instruments like: A<--->B
Or stack as many as 8 instruments (total overkill) in a linear pattern like A<---B---C--->D

So generous that they included the new American Steinway D for free in the same pack as the previous Euro Steinway D.

And the new morph feature looks so tasty. A great excuse to collect every model.

Does anybody know if you still get to use your old Pianoteq version when you upgrade to version 7? I'd still like to have version 6 around to use in 32-bit hosts.

Version 6 remains, at least as a standalone app.

New morphing is pretty slick, way better than I'd hoped. Glad to have Studio to bang out even more creative instruments than ever. That random on those morphs... oh my!

Nice modeling upgrade too -- audible difference and pleasing, can't wait to really dig in.
Have you tried Vital?

I paid $39 from 6 Pro...
Are you saying I didn’t have to?
Balls!

Extremely generous. I bought mine last November and I got upgraded for free. Wow.
