Edit: It doesn't post the link so go to Apple's website and then go to the new MPB13 page.

If it ain't 11, I'm not interested!

Fair enough. Mind you that 10.5 for Logic comparing to 10.0 would have been 28.2 for Cubase comparing to 8 and or Live or all the rest. I'm expecting a lot based on previous experience.

Tested with pre-release Logic Pro 10.6.0 with project consisting of multiple tracks, each with an Amp Designer plug-in instance applied. Individual tracks were added during playback until CPU became overloaded. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Pro.

Yeah, Logic 10.5 was a bigger update than any full number paid upgrade from other companies. It is quite possible that Logic 10.6 is significant... or it could be mainly Apple Silicon compatibility.

It's the latter I think. I suspect that the next version of Logic won't be free if they move to LPX11. Though I would hope Apple try to finish what they started in terms the UI updates for their plugins there are still some that need to be updated.
Studio One // Bitwig // Logic Pro // Ableton // Reason // FLStudio // MPC // Force // Maschine

Don’t know about that. They’re not charging for MacOS 11.
