I'm curious, so decided to create this poll so people can truly understand the worthiness of the various polls.

Stability, efficiency, stability, efficiency, easy workflow and MIDI and automation editor, easy connectivity with outboard hardware and between tracks, double-precision mixing engine, compatibility with W7 and all plugins and hardware controllers I use, stability. Reaper. ;)

Reaper, efficiency, flexibility, not Reaper. Best reverb. Whizz-bang, stuff, subscription model, analog compressors, don't they look nice? Channel strips, same. Boobs. An' ting

If money is not a concern then I will choose 1 linear and 1 pattern based DAW.

Choosing factors:
- Life span of the version. Don't ask me to pay another update less than 24 months.
- Friendly user community
- Workflow and how agile of the release. I hope at least 3 months have a minor update (bug fix + little goodies or improvement), 6 months have something for me to wow.
- Sampling and beat making capabilities.

Not that important factors (but welcome)
- New instruments and effects (though Grid is powerful but I seldom touch it)
- Co-Ops composing or whatever the term is (this is really not related to my case)
- Skin and coloring (welcome and welcome)
