As per as my understanding, Subscription is Free + Subscription Pack containing presets and wave tables and you can buy monthly 5 dollars worth of presets and wave tables that you can keep. 400+150 is for pro version only. You can also get plus version and subscribe for more presets and wave tables. Or maybe even pro and subscribe.PhaseTransition wrote: Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:48 am Hi Matt, first of all congratulations for this incredible sounding synth. From the few videos I have seen I would tell that the Filters and OSC-Modifiers sound awesome. There are so many sweet spots to explore and the workflow seems to be lightning fast. (exept for an easy to use Arp =/ ). To me it is an absolute joy to look at all the movement that's going on at this smooth refreshrate.
I am easily willing to spend $80 for it. But I could also live with paying this amount (or even a bit more) on a subscription basis.
My question now is.
Does the subscription model include the 400+ presets and 150 WT as well? Or are they sold seperately then?
Thanks!

I like to know this also. How does Vital work for bread & butter? I think it will work good also for this more basic sound.
I think the basic sound is also important.
Oh...who I'm kidding, I'm gonna watch it now!!

I guess for those that run their daws offline text-to-speech isn't possible then, well at least not creating new sounds that utilize it.mtytel wrote: Thu Nov 12, 2020 12:22 amYeah, the only thing that's limited in the free version is text-to-wavetable. The text-to-speech in that is a web service I pay for so am not including it in the free / plus versions.Halonmusic wrote: Thu Nov 12, 2020 12:14 am you can still make and save wavetables in the free version though?
All the other features are in the free version.
A tip is to include that in the description it that is the case, because it's not uncommon. Offline authorization is always partially because off this, and here we have a plugin that seems to have a particular function that wont work offline since its dependent on a web-service.

Does it import/convert images to wavetables?
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Another question: is there a manual? And is anyone already creating tutorials?

Yes I would also like see tutorials for Vital. They are good way to see how people use it and learn the Vital same. Also tutorials are good way to deminstrate what Vital can do = advertisimentDouble Tap wrote: Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:05 pm Another question: is there a manual? And is anyone already creating tutorials?

i don't run my things offline, but i don't like the fact that vital has a 'component' (text to wt) in 'another' environment. of course i think you don't use this component all the time just only when you generate a new wt...(or am i wrong?)

I would love some detail on this process so that I can write software to generate wavetables that are targetted to Vital (which really looks good to me). What exactly is required in a file to be read correctly, where the wavetable is meant to end up say as a 2048*128 wavetable or 1024 * 256 / whatevermtytel wrote: Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:54 pmYes and yes.alexissodark wrote: Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:37 pm Looks really nice,
I got two questions, Can we import samples? Can we import/export wavetables?
For wavetables you can just add a folder in app, or you can drag and drop them in. You can also create your own wavetables with some other drag and drop modes. This is a super old video but shows how the feature works: https://twitter.com/matttytel/status/11 ... 02208?s=20

You're not wrong.dune_rave wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 5:28 am i don't run my things offline, but i don't like the fact that vital has a 'component' (text to wt) in 'another' environment. of course i think you don't use this component all the time just only when you generate a new wt...(or am i wrong?)
You just need to be online when you want to access to the text to wavetable service.
I generally disable my internet when I make music, to stay focused and put it on if I need to use the Vital text to wavetable. I save my wt, close internet, and start playing with the new wt.

You can technically load an audio file having words and vocode and the results will be similar, right?Whywhy wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 9:59 amYou're not wrong.dune_rave wrote: Sat Nov 14, 2020 5:28 am i don't run my things offline, but i don't like the fact that vital has a 'component' (text to wt) in 'another' environment. of course i think you don't use this component all the time just only when you generate a new wt...(or am i wrong?)
