I put 2 songs in my music website: "Will Get Better In Time" (more synth-oriented) is the song on top, and "Can Have Fun" (more guitar oriented) is the next song down. Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved. I can return the favor if you wish (leave me a link). Here is my link:

Rather metallic, digital sound on track one. Vocals are great. As mentioned already, leaves the impression of good ol' Residents stuff..

Your stuff is always pretty great. And you are by the far the most productive artist on KVR.

"Will Get Better In Time"
Backdrop synth parts - catchy with good combinations of sounds...very effective indeed.
Vocals - they work (shades of Alice Cooper at times),for me they were slightly over-processed and the dynamic levels jumped around quite a bit.
Solo - nice musical flow overall, but I felt that some sustained note choices could have been better against the underlying harmonies.
"Can Have Fun"
Nice slice of psychedelic rock - enjoyed it all the way through - great vibe!
One small point - the intro before the vocals enter and the pace changes...is it necessary? I played the track again from the drum stick hits and I think it worked just as well from there?
Very different styles, but I enjoyed them both.
There's often a track of mine somewhere around this forum. This is my latest, but no worries if you don't get around to it:

Two very different tracks. Preferred the rocky one, but enjoyed both.
Does the website they are on mashup the audio quality or something? They were a bit warped sounding?

Is the first track chockfull of SC-55 sounds or am I just hearing things?

"Will Get Better In Time" has some of your catchiest 80s style synth work. The guitar slots in there nicely. The vocal levels are all over the place on this one, starting low but overwhelming the backing track in the chorus. I think with a more carefully delivered vocal performance this track would work better but it is still enjoyable as it stands.

ATS,
Thank you for checking out my music and commenting, I appreciate it! I will now seek out your music....well I went back over a month & did not noticed a thread by you so I will review a song of your's in this thread. Now listening to your Layzer song: I like the vocal synth stuff, and the rest of the synths and drums. Nice song and recording!
. I'm trying to recall if I've heard this song before.

Paladin on a Horse,
Thank you for listening and commenting, I appreciate it! Not sure if it is just my weird music or my music website you are speaking of. Will now seek out your music...though I did not notice a thread of yours in this forum in over a month. Leave me a link if you have music that you want me to review.

Music Bird,
Thank you for listening and replying. I actually own a Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas, but it is in neither of these songs. I haven't used it in ages. Unless the Arturia Spark Dubstep sampled an SC-55. Will now seek out your music.

"Can Have Fun": Well, that's real, old Rock'n Roll, with the dirty guitar
and a lot of delay on the voice. Grooves well - and you can hear that it
was quite a job to mix it so nicely.
The break at 2:30 min brings us into newer realms: New sounds and a
beautiful eighth-note guitar. Then, as expected, it's back to the 60s
rock'n roll.
What I like: Good groove, well mixed, drums not too loud.
What can be improved: Actually, the song is good as it is. However,
you are using the cliché of 60ties rock. Is that your style in general?

Paladin on a Horse,
Thank you for replying again!
enroe,
Thank you for listening and replying, I appreciate it! Usually, my original music sounds more 80's than 60's, but not always. I do play surf rock at times, which sounds at least partially 60's. I will now seek out your music.
